While we’re waiting for the Tieranniesaur 7” to come back from the plant, we thought we’d do a bit of a news round up as loads of bands we’ve put out are super busy just now… so without further ado - is more news than you can shake a stick at…
TIERANNIESAUR’s terrific 2nd LP ‘DIYSCO’ is out now! You can get it on vinyl through the Popical Island collective over HERE, or you can get a cassette version from us (they’re going fast) with downloads for £2.99. The tape version is also available to buy at all the usual places. Tieranniesaur will be Tearing Galway apart with help from Dott on 30th of May at Roisin Dubh. Here’s a video of them playing ‘Looking Up The Skirts Of Giants’ for Totally Irish.
THE SPOOK SCHOOL will be whooping it up (Will Niall keep his clothes on?) on Saturday 18th of May at The Wee Red Bar in Edinburgh with the Occasional Flickers, and then following Saturday they’ll be doing it all again at Broadcast in Glasgow (25 / 5).
BIG WAVE have got a new release out, called Goldmine, it comes on a very shiny, very limited cassette courtesy of Art Is Hard records, that’s out on May 20th and in support of it they’ve made a very lovely quiz show themed video which you can see HERE. They’re also playing Indietracks - we can’t wait to see them!
Speaking of extremely rare and collectable cassettes, there’s a new one by AUTUMNS which has 4 Demos that aren’t available anywhere else, on a baby pink cassette in an edition of 5! I’ve never seen a tape with a ‘tissue paper insert’ before have you? DIY or die! These are exclusive to Rough Trade - get one HERE. Autumns will also be playing a date with SEPTEMBER GIRLS and The Pulpit on Saturday June 15th at Thomas House in Dublin. SEPTEMBER GIRLS will also be playing at the Nottingham Pop All Dayer on Saturday 14th of September with a line up that sounds like too much fun all at once.
The Rosy Crucifixion will be playing their last hometown date for a while on May 17th at Nice N Sleazy in Glasgow with Trembling Bells and Muscles of Joy.
The Wharves are hitting the road too and have got a whole bunch of tourdates planned - go and see them or else.

We’re really pleased to say that we’ve got a few exciting things on the go just now, firstly we’ll be releasing the 7” vinyl version of DIYSCO, by tieranniesaur(so you can easily pop it in your dj box) if it doesn’t make you dance, basically you’re dead - and as if that wasn’t enough we’re going to be releasing the tape version of their new LP as well. Hot on the heels of that we’ll be putting out a double A-side 7” with Brighton’s Ancient Times featuring the wonderful Nightschool on the A and previously unreleased track Hieroglyphic on the AA… exciting times.
